Hello I am Jess! I am the sole designer/ maker/ general dogsbody of Ickaprint!
I believe in creating products that will put a spring in your step and a smile on your face with little bit of everyday fun! For the best gift givers and the interiors enthusiasts, people who want to spread a bit of fun and happiness.
With an ever expanding collection of cards and prints all drawn or painted by me in my home studio, Ickaprint is a growing company (I have SO many plans for the future!) All products are manufactured in the UK using eco-friendly materials where possible, and packaged with a lot of love and care (and pink!)
After earning my stripes as a home textile designer (think cushions!) I had moved on to being a fashion textile designer in London - painting and drawing prints for some of the big brands. I was slogging everyday and putting my heart and soul into everything I did. I would come home exhausted, feeling as though all my efforts were going towards somebody else's vision and goal. Although it was super rewarding seeing my drawings and designs on the highstreet - the added knowledge of how unsustainable the fast fashion market has become I knew it was time to do something for me! That is where Ickaprint was born - my brother always called me Icka (as in JessICA) and it is my goal to bring a bit of joy into everyones lives and homes without destroying the planet!
